A Fox Sports report Sunday morning said NFL commissioner Roger Goodell intends to interview Raiders coach Tom Cable about his alleged role in a training-camp incident in which defensive assistant Randy Hanson sustained a broken jaw after being struck by another Oakland coach.
"This is not getting pushed under the rug," Goodell said, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazier.
Glazier also reported that Goodell told him that the commissioner might take disciplinary action based on results from an investigation conducted by the Napa Police Department.
"I don't know anything about that development," Cable said after Sunday's 29-6 loss to the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium.
