Saints coach Sean Payton said it's hard to predict each week how Alvin Kamara's touches will come. But he knows that he wants to keep getting involved since “he's an explosive player.”
We've had news about Kamara dating back to summer that the team was high on him and it's continued to this point. The Fox broadcast pointed out several times Payton has a "man-crush" on Kamara. He caught all 10 targets in the game and also rushed five times. The story pointed out he's only touches the ball 35 times total this season, an average of 8.75 times per game. Kamara got 11 touches in Week 1 but only four in Week 2 vs. New England and then five in Week 3 against Carolina, but had a career high 15 against the Dolphins. He's only playing on 35.1-percent of the snaps, but like the story said, is certainly taking advantage and appears to be a solid, flex play in PPRs.
