Saints WR Colston has procedure on knee

Saints Sean Payton said WR Marques Colston had an arthroscopic procedure on his knee on Tuesday and did not practice. He's listed as questionable.

Fantasy Impact:

He's listed as questionable but it seems unlikely that he'd play. As you know, the Saints have plenty of targets like Robert Meachem, Lance Moore and Devery Henderson. All become okay plays if Colston doesn't play. The Saints take on the Bucs in Week 17.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
