Sanchez shows poise and accuracy in scrimmage

The star of the Jets scrimmage today was rookie QB Mark Sanchez. He played two of his five possessions with the first-team offense, finished 9-of-16 for 70 yards but he had four passes blatantly dropped on him.

"Sanchez did well,'' Rex Ryan said. "We all wanted to see what he could do. We wanted to see poise and accuracy and he showed it. He wanted to show what he could do.''

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
