Titans tight end Bo Scaife suffered a left knee injury in the third quarter of Thursday night's season opener against the Steelers, and later in the locker room he blamed Steelers LB James Harrison, the NFL Defensive MVP last season.
Harrison tackled Scaife on the sideline, causing a fumble that the Steelers recovered.
"He dove at my leg. It was a cheap shot,'' Scaife said. "I have been playing my whole life and no one has ever hit me like that. So I know when it is real and when it is not real. So it was a cheap shot and I don't care if that gets back to him either.''
Scaife did not return to the game. He had five catches for 48 yards before the injury.
"It's not too bad,'' Scaife said. "But you know you have to talk to Coach Fisher about that stuff, man.''
