WR Mike Williams suffered an injury to the bottom of his foot in the second half of Sunday's game, and his status is day-to-day. He was in a plastic protective boot after the game.
"He did something very unusual to his foot," coach Pete Carroll said. "It might not be as serious as we originally thought, but we're going to have to wait and see how he responds."
Williams appeared to suffer a leg injury in the first quarter after his 68-yard reception, but that was an issue of cramping in his hamstring. The injury that knocked him out of the game was entirely different.
"He was running down the field and felt something pop," Carroll said. "It's very unusual. They know exactly what it is. I can't explain it to you, and they've never seen it before. So it's an unusual thing that he's got. Something in the bottom of his foot."
Initial reports said the injury could be very serious but Carroll gave reason to be optimistic at least for now.
