Pete Carroll says he was told today that Chris Carson will return to the practice field Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

The tweet added that Carroll said the team will take it "one day at a time.'' So, it's not totally clear what Carson's practice status will be, nor his status for Week 10. We'll know more later in the week but it sounds like he's making progress toward a return.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
