Seahawks TE Zach Miller to miss 'extended amount of time'

According to a report from FOXSports.com, Seahawks tight end Zach Miller will miss an “extended amount of time” after having a procedure on his ankle.

Miller was listed on the Week 3 injury report with an ankle injury, but he was probable and wound up catching two passes in Seattle’s overtime victory against the Broncos. Injured reserve/return isn’t a possibility for Miller because the team has already used their annual spot on that list for cornerback Jeremy Lane so they’ll either have to carry Miller on the roster until he’s healthy or place him on injured reserve.

Fantasy Impact:

Luke Wilson and Cooper Helfelt are the other tight ends on the team’s active roster and they also have RaShaun Allen on the practice squad. Miller was averaging just over 25 yards a game receiving.
