Steelers RB James Conner has AC joint injury

Running back James Conner left Heinz Field with his right arm in a sling after the Pittsburgh Steelers' 27-14 victory against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Conner has an AC joint injury and is being evaluated. Tomlin expects to have an update on Conner at his Tuesday news conference.

Related players: Jaylen Samuels, Benny Snell, Trey Edmunds

Fantasy Impact:

The Steelers RB situation is suddenly a bit of a mess heading into Week 9. Snell is being looked at for a possible knee injury and also left the game early on Monday night. That left Edmunds as the only healthy back on the roster in the final two minutes. The good news is Samuels is expected to play in Week 9, and at this point is looking like a must-add off the wire.
