Steelers TE Vance McDonald is battling a shoulder sprain, and while he won’t have an extended absence, depth is an issue.

Fantasy Impact:

The Steelers traded for TE Nick Vannett to add some depth to their TE group but right now it sounds like McDonald won't be out long. We'll need to see if he practices at all this week for his availability Monday night against the Bengals.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
