This was expected, but still worth noting as McDonald is expected to be the starting tight end in one of the most potent passing attacks in the NFL. The news thursts Jesse James into consideration as a streaming option against the Browns, who are our 32nd ranked defenses against tight ends. James should slot in as a TE2 in our rankings.

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
