Houston Texans running back Steve Slaton, whose 2009 season was cut short by a neck injury, appeared on a Houston radio station and said he's 100 percent and ready to go.
Fantasy Impact:
Slaton entered the 2009 season as Houston's main runner but the Texans backfield is far more crowded heading into the 2010 season. Arian Foster showed promise while Slaton was out and the team drafted Auburn's Ben Tate in the second round of April's draft. Plus there's no guarantee Slaton is ever going to recapture his 2008 form. If anyone is likely to lead Houston's backfield in touches, it's probably going to be Tate.
