Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (chest) missed practice again Friday. With both Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison sidelined for the Vikings' first two practices of the week, Mike Boone is a must-add for the final. If they're out, Boone should see 15-20 touches against a generous Green Bay rush defense. For what it's worth, Mike Zimmer is being coy about both players and suggested that Mattison has a "good chance" to suit up. Even if he does, and Cook sits, Boone could end up with 15+ touches.

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (chest) is ruled out and Alexander Mattison (ankle) is questionable for Monday night against the Packers.

Fantasy Impact:

Cook did not practice all week, but Mattison was testing his ankle in drills Saturday. It’s shaping up to be a true game-time decision on Mattison. If he can’t go, Mike Boone has a chance to be this year’s unlikely fantasy championship hero.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (shoulder) was not listed on the final injury report for Week 16.

Fantasy Impact:

Prescott was limited all week, but the expectation all week was that he would be in the lineup. Today makes that official. Prescott will be ready to help Dallas attempt to clinch the NFC East in Philadelphia on Sunday. How limited he'll be during the game will be something to watch. Prescott is our No. 11-ranked quarterback for the week.

Fantasy Impact:

It's looking unlikely either will play on Monday, opening the door for Mike Boone, who scored two touchdowns after Cook exited the game in Week 15. Boone is looking like an unlikely fantasy championship hero for Week 16, as he is now in line for a big workload. He's right on the cusp of an RB2-level play this week. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (right shoulder) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Prescott reportedly won't throw until Saturday. He should be able to play through his shoulder injury, though it was bad enough in Week 15 that he told a teammate that he "wasn't going to throw" the run-pass option "no matter what the read was," so this is definitely an injury to monitor this week.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (shoulder) did not throw at practice Thursday, but is still expected to play Sunday against the Eagles.

Fantasy Impact:

The Cowboys are giving Prescott as much rest as possible so he can be as close to 100 percent as possible against the Eagles. Owner Jerry Jones appeared on local radio and sounded very confident that Prescott will be good to go as the Cowboys look to clinch the NFC East. Prescott was limited during the game after suffering the injury early against the Rams so Ezekiel Elliott may have to carry most of the weight. But even limited, Prescott can never be counted out.

Fantasy Impact:

Sources also told ESPN‘s Courtney Cronin that Minnesota is considering shutting Cook down for the final two games of the regular season. The plan would be to keep Cool fresh for the playoffs. Minnesota has all but punched their ticket to the postseason. The only way they miss is by losing their last two games and the Rams win their last two games. Minnesota finishes the season against the Packers and Bears, L.A. has the 49ers and Cardinals.

If Minnesota does sit Cook, they’ll be left with Ameer Abdullah, Mike Boone and fullback C.J. Ham. Alexander Mattison has an ankle injury and did not play in Week 15.
