WR Chris Olave continues to progress through the concussion protocol while teammates Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry both missed practice.

With the Saints' odd —if effective— usage of Taysom Hill, it's hard to say who would benefit if Thomas and Landry miss Week 6. Olave would be the most obvious choice, but after him and may just be Hill and Alvin Kamara. Marquez Callaway is the next best bet but we currently have him ranked as the WR52.

Saints QB Jameis Winston (back/ankle) was limited at today’s practice, according to the injury report.

Perhaps the biggest question regarding a Winston return is the usage of Hill. But we reported Tuesday a Winston return could mean even more snaps for Hill, who also had to serve as the backup to Dalton with Winston out. Winston didn't practice last week so this could be a good sign.

Olave is dealing with a concussion and never returned after catching a touchdown and hitting his head on the turf last week. Thomas has missed the last two weeks with his foot injury and isn't off to a great start for Week 6. Landy is dealing with an ankle injury. With Harty also listed as DNP, the Saints could be looking at a top-three of Callaway, Smith and Kirkwood in Week 6.

Saints coach Dennis Allen maintained that they always had a plan [to have Taysom Hill involved at QB].

While Winston's injury seemed to be the catalyst for Hill taking quarterback snaps again at practice, keep in mind Hill was also injured and missed time before Winston got hurt. As the story pointed out, if Winston returns as a starter, it would make even more sense for Hill to have a bigger role because he would not be an immediate backup at quarterback and thus not as big of an injury concern. Hill has scored the last two weeks and makes for a sneaky TE play if your league allows it.

The game broadcast just reported Darren Waller has a hamstring injury.

Palmer said he was watching Waller on the sideline and he didn't appear to be trying to work out the injury and never looked like he was going to return - which he didn't. Moreau was inactive with a knee injury so Horsted took over the TE duties. The Raiders have a bye in Week 6, so it could be a week or so before we know who will lead the way at TE in Week 7 when they host the Texans.

Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, who's listed as questionable with quad and hamstring injuries, is expected to play tonight against the Raiders.

The target distribution outside of Travis Kelce is hard to swallow, but Smith-Schuster remains the best WR option for fantasy as long as he is on the field. If you kept him in your Flex spot throughout the weekend, hoping he would play, he should deliver a solid floor on MNF.

The Saints offense is now a shell of their former selves. Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry and now Olave are all out. It’s pretty much back to 2021 with Marquez Callaway and Tre’Quan Smith leading the charge on the outside.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (shoulder/ankle) is out, and WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) is questionable for Sunday against the Patriots.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara said he's feeling good and plans to play against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday after missing last week's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Kamara has a rib injury that he suffered in the Saints' season opener against the Atlanta Falcons, and it has caused him to miss games in Week 2 and Week 4. If he's on the field, he needs to be in your lineup, regardless of format or league size.

Alvin Kamara said he is feeling good and plans to play Sunday against the Seahawks.

Kamara was quoted as saying if he feels like he can't help the team, he won't go, which explains missing Week 4. But he said he's feeling great this week, and he's healthy and ready to roll. Kamara injured a rib in the season opener against the Falcons.
