Taysom Hill said Tuesday he's been dealing with a partial tear of the plantar fascia, which resulted in him being active but a nonparticipant in the last two games. The Saints quarterback said he "felt pretty good" this week and that the last couple days have been "really encouraging."

The Saints have reportedly been giving Hill the first-team quarterback reps in practice this week, so HC Sean Payton seems as if he is preparing him to start Thursday if he's good to go. "I think so," Hill said when asked if he'll be ready to play Thursday. "That's kind of the question mark. It's hard to simulate a game in practice. The last couple weeks I would have been limited if I had to go in and play," the story said.

Ezekiel Elliott (knee), CeeDee Lamb (concussion), Tarell Basham (chest) were all full participants in today’s practice.

Cedrick Wilson (ankle) did not practice for second consecutive day.

Good news for the Cowboys, especially with Lamb and the news Cooper may have to miss Thursday's game because of COVID symptoms. Machota pointed out the Cowboys WRs vs. Saints could be Lamb, Gallup, Brown, Turner and Fehoko.

Saints RBs Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram practiced on Tuesday.

It's been three days in a row for both backs, according to Underhill. Underhill added it's still a "we'll see" situation with Kamara, and if he does play he may not get a full workload, according to the video. We'll hopefully know more about both players' status with another day before Thursday's game. Kamara was limited again on Tuesday while Ingram practiced in full again.

At this point, the cat seems out of the bag as reports have said Hill was taking all the first-team reps in practice with Siemian getting second team reps. Siemian was not good the past two weeks as Hill was trying to get better from a foot injury and a concussion. While the Saints may take this as late as they can, signs point to Hill getting the start on Thursday against the Cowboys. We'll at least know 90 minutes before kickoff.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (COVID-19) is back in building but "still not feeling the best," coach Mike McCarthy said. Still has a cough. "To be determined" whether he'll practice today. "My gut would be if he doesn't practice tomorrow, I don't see him going to the game."

Cooper is not vaccinated and still has symptoms. He was required to miss two games over a 10-day period but because he's still not feeling well he could miss a third game as a result. With Lamb back in the fold after a concussion, he would likely be the team's WR1. Gallup is more of a big play threat while Wilson could be more of a WR2-type with Brown also mixing in.

Rich Bisaccia says Darren Waller and Carl Nassib are "week-to-week."

Owners should be prepared to be without Waller in Week 13. Moreau should make for be a great fill-in option who is very likely to be on your wire. While he's only been targeted a few times each game with Waller in the lineup, Moreau put up a 6-60-1 line on Oct. 24 getting the start against the Eagles.

RB Alvin Kamara (knee) was listed as limited in today's practice, while RB Mark Ingram (knee) was a full participant.

Good news for the Saints as at least Ingram is on track to play Thursday night against the Cowboys at home. We'll continue to monitor Kamara but he could be back as well. It was reported earlier today that Taysom Hill was trending toward starting at QB and in the past has hurt Kamara's fantasy value. However, the Saints are running out of time to make a playoff push so expect them to utilize their stars as much as they can.

Lions coach Dan Campbell says RB D’Andre Swift is still pretty sore. “It’s hard to say that you’d see him playing,” he said.

Owners should probably prepare to be without Swift in Week 13. Williams is recently back from injury himself but carried the load after Swift went down on Thanksgiving. The rookie Jefferson should also be involved.

Hill is fresh off a strange, new contract that will see him earn money depending on what position he plays going forward, and now it appears he'll start at QB in Week 13 on Thursday night against the Cowboys. The tweet added Siemian is taking reps with the number-twos. Hill is best known for his running and with Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram battling injuries and missing Week 12, Hill probably gives the team their best shot at a win and a late push to the playoffs.

Packers RB Aaron Jones (knee) and WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) are questionable for Week 12 against the Los Angeles Rams.

As great as having Jones in the backfield would be, his presence in the passing game would be the biggest boon for the Packers. Lazard has been a safe target, especially when looking to convert on third downs.
