New Orleans listed Chris Olave (ankle) as a limited participant for today’s injury report. The Saints conducted a walk-through.

As we reported Monday, Saints head coach Dennis Allen said he expected Olave’s to return to practice “in some form or fashion” on Tuesday. It's a good sign for Olave getting back into action, but keep in mind it's a Thursday game for the Saints this week.

The Saints didn’t practice Monday, but with a Thursday Night Football game looming, they had to issue an estimated report.

The team listed defensive end Isaiah Foskey (quadricep), safety Lonnie Johnson (knee), running back Kendre Miller (ankle), receiver Chris Olave (ankle) and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk (knee) as non-participants.

Olave missed Sunday’s game against the Giants, and coach Dennis Allen said Monday that the short turnaround between Sunday and Thursday factored into the decision to hold out Olave. Allen said the hope was for Olave to practice in some capacity on Tuesday.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel tells reporters that WR Tyreek Hill won't practice today on his ankle injury and is considered questionable. He hasn't practiced all week.

The ball was spread out a little more in Week 14, with Hill coming off and on the field, but not enough to make the tertiary options behind Jaylen Waddle usable. This would obviously be a terrible time for Tyreek to miss, with so many of us depending on him in the fantasy playoffs, but hope isn't lost yet.

WR Chris Olave did not practice for the second straight day with an ankle injury, leaving his status in doubt for Sunday.

The Saints receiving group is looking very rough heading into Week 15. If Olave ends up missing, it will be difficult to start many names outside of Alvin Kamara.

Saints are listing QB Derek Carr as questionable for Sunday’s game vs Carolina due to his concussion, ribs and right shoulder.

We've seen Carr play through injuries this year, and it hasn't been great. Back in Weeks 3-4 he had a nearly-impossible 4.18 yards per attempt on 55 passes, accumulating 11.3 combined fantasy points. Winston could make for an interesting desperation streamer, but Carr is an absolute stay-away if he starts.

Taysom Hill has foot and left hand injuries. He’ll be evaluated throughout the week. He didn’t practice today

Hill is coming off of yet another great fantasy performance, rushing 13 times for 59 yards and a touchdown while adding two catches for 15 yards. He should be a great TE option in Week 14, but not if he can't find his way back to practice by Friday.

Saints quarterback Derek Carr is back in the concussion protocol.

Carr suffered his second concussion in the last four weeks during Sunday’s 33-28 loss to the Lions in Detroit and he has also dealt with multiple right shoulder issues, but he’s yet to miss a start in his first season in New Orleans.

HC Dennis Allen said that “it’s concerning” any time a player has a concussion in response to a question about multiple head injuries in a short period of time, the story said. The story also bought up the concussion and other injuries being a reason to sit Carr down. The Saints play the Panthers and Giants over the next two weeks as they look to stay in the playoff hunt. If Carr can't go, or the team feels he needs a rest, Winston would be in line to start.

It sounds like a similar injury to what Carr suffered in Week 10 but was able to avoid missing time thanks to the bye week the following week. That likely won't be the case here. Jameis Winston is in the game and could see more playing time while Carr likely will miss time. Tayson Hill has also been getting more involved as the Saints' Swiss Army knife.

This is great news for the Saints offense as a whole, as they are already missing Michael Thomas and Rashid Shaheed for Week 13. Olave would be a must-start if he's fully cleared by Sunday, in a great matchup against the Lions.

Olave got hurt going leaping high for a pass and coming down hard. He was having a really nice day with 114 yards on seven catches. The Saints have taken some hits at the wide receiver position. Olave is out, Michael Thomas is on IR, Rashid Shaheed is banged up. It's pretty down right now for the Saints, who are in danger of losing the NFC South lead to the Falcons.
