Texans HC David Culley says QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) is day-to-day.

The tweet went on to say there is no word on Taylor's IR status, but Taylor will be ramped up and not thrown in immediately. It seems like Mills could get at least one more start before Taylor would be ready to go. At that point, the team will need to decide if they want to evaluate Mills for the rest of the season or go back to the veteran Taylor. Either way, most of the Texan offense is a struggle to play in fantasy lineups.

It doesn’t sound like anyone should expect to see Tyrod Taylor in the lineup when the Texans take on the Colts in Week 6. Texans head coach David Culley said he’s not expecting Taylor to come off of injured reserve this week.

“I don’t think so, not sure yet,” Culley said, via multiple reporters.

Mills has started the last three games for Houston. He had his best outing to date in Sunday’s 25-22 loss to the Patriots and it looks like he’ll get at least one more chance to run the offense before Taylor is back in the picture, the story said.

Both will have to miss at least three games. Taylor is dealing with a hamstring issue and Collins a shoulder. Mills will get the start at QB after coming on in relief. Mills is thrown to the fire early as it's a Thursday night game against the Panthers.

Depending on how quickly Taylor’s hamstring responds to treatment, sources familiar with his situation haven’t ruled out an earlier return, but the Texans have always been extra cautious with hamstring and groin injuries and aren’t expected to rush him back, the story went on to say. Mills will get the start and the team is expected to back him up with Driskel on a short week, Thursday night game. If he's still on the wire, Mills is worth adding in deeper leagues or superflex leagues but he's obviously not a confident start for fantasy owners.

It probably shouldn't come as a surprise the team won't turn to Watson given his off-field issues. Taylor is likely out and Mills wasn't impressive coming on in relief in Week 2. But it looks like the Texans will make Watson inactive yet again for Week 3, and look to give Mills the start.

With the Packers down 38-3 against the Saints, the Packers are starting to get a bit of a head start of getting Love some work for 2022 after one of Aaron Rodgers' worst performances of his career. He finished 15/28 for 133 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. The story adds another chapter. Green Bay plays on Monday night next week, hosting the Lions.
