Despite Texans RB Arian Foster missing another tentative target date, head coach Gary Kubiak said Monday he believes the team’s star running back will be ready for the Sept. 9 season-opener at San Diego.
Kubiak said that if he had an official date for Foster’s return, “I’d give it [to] you.”
Kubiak said he's been watching Foster work out, basically going through camp on his own. He added that Foster hasn't been "standing around," which leads to him being optimistic Foster will be ready. Either way, getting Ben Tate seems like a must for Foster owners, or potential Foster owners. Even if Foster is ready Week 1, it's hard to imagine him not sharing duties with Tate to start the season.
