Finally, the Titans had a day in which they returned no positive COVID-19 test results.
From Tuesday to Sunday, the team had at least one player test positive as the case numbers ballooned. But Monday saw the Titans return only negative coronavirus tests, a source confirmed to The Tennessean.
Since Sept. 24, the Titans have had 20 positive tests – 10 players and 10 team personnel. Seven position groups have been affected since the outbreak.
The outbreak, the first to hit an NFL team, forced the league to reshuffle part of its schedule. The Titans and Steelers now are on their open week, and their Week 7 game will be played Oct. 25. The story said Titans coach Mike Vrabel said Thursday that he hoped the team facility, which has been closed since the outbreak first came to light Tuesday, would be able to reopen Monday or Tuesday. A league source said: "We would like to see a couple consecutive clean days of testing before reopening the facility."
