One week after the biggest game of his career, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt's season may be on hold.
Britt said he heard a “pop” in his right hamstring as he was running a go route with 4:21 to play in the first quarter.
“I felt it pop when I was just running out there on that last couple of steps,” Britt said. “I had my hands out and it popped, and I knew I was down for the count right then and there.'
Britt was assisted off the field by trainers and did not see any more action. When the game was over, he was still limping noticeably in the locker room. He has an MRI scheduled for Monday morning to determine the extent of the damage to the leg, but is expected to miss significant time.
Britt was coming off his best game as a pro and was a popular waiver wire pickup and play in fantasy lineups this past week. It would have been interesting to see what Britt did as a follow up to his best game. He had a few steps on the DB, but was overthrown by Vince Young on the play he was injured.
