Tyler Eifert still in concussion protocol

Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol, Paul Dehner of the Cincinnati Enquirer tweeted Tuesday.

The Bengals have an extra day of preparation this week ahead of their game in Denver next Monday night, so Eifert still has time to get healthy, get cleared and play in that game.

Fantasy Impact:

Rookie Tyler Kroft started in Eifert’s place last week and caught a touchdown pass from A.J. McCarron in McCarron’s first start. Eifert has 12 touchdown catches on the season. But for fantasy owners, he's risky to wait on unless you plan on being able to swap in Kroft in his place. At this point, owners should have a backup plan.
