According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson has a chance to play a significant role this season.
The Van Jefferson hype machine took a hit when the Los Angeles Rams signed veteran wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Still, according to Fowler, Jefferson may earn the number three wide receiver role and spell Robert Woods or Cooper Kupp in two wide sets. Fowler added that DeSean will still have his packages but that 'the Rams won't overload his snaps.' Currently 69th in our wide receiver rankings, Jefferson may see a value increase if/when he is officially named the number three. This news makes him an intriguing late-round flier, and someone who those who have already drafted may want to check the waiver wire for. DeSean Jackson's already tenuous value will take a hit if Fowler's prediction comes to fruition. This is a situation to monitor.
