Victor Cruz signs extension with Giants

Giants and WR Victor Cruz have agreed to terms on new 5-year extension for $43 million on top of his one-year tender. Expected to sign it by tomorrow.

Fantasy Impact:

Reportedly, Cruz gets just over $15 million guaranteed from the Giants. Right now he ranks 14th among our receivers with an ADP of the mid-fourth round. We saw his production drop from 2011 (82-1,536-10) to 2012 (86-1,092-6), after getting banged up a bit and losing some targets per game. This year, we expect him to land somewhere in between those two seasons at 76-1,212-7, making him a pretty solid WR2.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
