Sidney Rice didn't exactly ease back into things Sunday in his 2010 debut after recovering from hip surgery.
Expected to play limited snaps against the Green Bay Packers, Rice instead was on the field more than any other Vikings wide receiver in a 31-3 loss at Mall of America Field.
Rice unofficially played 48 of the team's 57 offensive snaps because Bernard Berrian left the game in the first quarter after his groin injury flared up.
"Felt great," Rice said. "I wasn't expecting to get that many plays, but Bernard went down. I ended up playing the whole game, and I didn't have any problems."
