Vikings not yet ruling out RB Dalvin Cook (shoulder) for Week 13

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer calls RB Dalvin Cook "day-to-day" with a shoulder injury. Says he doesn't have a torn labrum, which had been reported. Wouldn't say if he dislocated his shoulder or not. Won't rule him out yet for Sunday vs. Detroit.

There was a lot of news on Cook today. Ian Rapoport was among those to report Cook dislocated his shoulder and caused a torn labrum in Week 12 against the 49ers. He also reported Cook has been playing with a torn labrum in his other shoulder. While much of what Zimmer said was evasive, one thing to note that he did say was Cook doesn't have a torn labrum. We'll continue to update Cook's status, but in the meantime, pick up Mattison if he's on your wire.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.
