Texans WR Will Fuller (hamstring) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Fuller’s streak of quality games with Deshaun Watson ended at seven. He’ll have a chance to produce against Phillip Gaines this week, since Tre’Davious White is likely to shadow DeAndre Hopkins.

Deshaun Watson is considered day to day with a chest injury from the Cowboys game.

Fantasy Impact:

It was just a day or so ago when Watson said he was built to take hits in games when talking about his style of play at times this season. However it looks like those words are coming back to bite him. One would think Watson is good to go this week after finishing last week's game, but this is certainly worth monitoring. Watson took several big hits against the Cowboys, and has all season for the most part.

DeAndre Hopkins knows how tough and competitive his quarterback can be. But when he sees Deshaun Watson take hit after hit when he's running the ball, he has just one message for him.

"[I'm] in the huddle telling him to get down," Hopkins said. "I need [Watson]. That's what I tell him, honestly. Don't take those hits unless you -- have to.

"But he's a warrior. He wants to get in the end zone every time the ball is in his hands."

Fantasy Impact:

According to ESPN, Watson was hit four times outside of the pocket against the Cowboys, and those are often the most physical shots he absorbs. He also took four hits on the run in Week 4 against the Colts. Along with the hits while on the run, Watson has been hit a startling 55 times in five games and has been sacked 18 times this season.

Texans WR Will Fuller (hamstring, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 5. Fuller expects to play. He has caught 10 touchdowns in his last seven games with Deshaun Watson.

Deshaun Watson is taking a licking, though he keeps on ticking. Or something like that for those who remember the old Timex commercials.

The Texans quarterback, who had his rookie season prematurely ended by a torn ACL, has endured 17 sacks in four games this season. That puts him on pace to take 68 sacks this season, 14 more than the Texans allowed in 2017.

Fantasy Impact:

On top of that, Watson has taken 43 hits this season, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, putting Watson on pace for 172 hits this season.

Texans WR Will Fuller (hamstring) took limited practice reps all week. Fuller was removed from the injury report while his teammate DeAndre Hopkins is listed as questionable so he seems to be the healthier of the two right now. He has been on fire in his games with Deshaun Watson under center.

Texans WR Will Fuller (hamstring) took limited practice reps all week. Fuller was limited last weekend and went off against the Titans. Fuller’s receiving lines in the five games he has played with Deshaun Watson: 4-35-2, 2-57-2, 2-62-1, 5-125-2 and 8-113-1. That’s a 67-catch, 1254-yard and 26-touchdown (!!!) pace. The touchdowns are going to regress eventually, but it’s encouraging to see that Fuller went over 100 yards receiving (and 8 targets) in each of his last two games with Watson. The Giants will be missing CB Eli Apple.

He should be mostly matched up with CB Eli Apple, who has played well so far this year but was very burnable in 2016 and 2017.
