WR Dez Bryant Will Play Sunday Night

Dallas rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant tweeted last week that he would play against Miami in the team's final preseason game.

It didn't happen. Now, what about the regular-season opener against Washington?

"We're going to let Dez play this week," Dallas head coach Wade Phillips said. "He can tweet that or whatever."

A high ankle sprain prevented Bryant from making his debut in the preseason. The talented receiver hasn't played in any game since last September.

What does Phillips expect?

"We'll watch him some as far as that's concerned," Phillips said. "He may be really excited. But I've got a feeling when the lights turn on, he's going to respond."

Fantasy Impact:

This news is not a major surprise, but it's nice to see Phillips confirm that Bryant will be back. Dez will likely start slow, but could be a major factor before the season is over.
