Travis Hunter is the Best CB in the 2025 NFL Draft

Travis Hunter is an elite prospect on both sides of the football. He's a fantastic wide receiver and a shutdown cornerback who can make plays on the defensive side of the football. He is the best cornerback in the 2025 draft class. At cornerback, Hunter makes instinctive plays while running with wide receivers and can go up to pick the ball out of the air with ease. Hunter is good at reading receivers and shifting his eyes to the quarterback right as a route breaks. He is one of the best players in the entire draft and is going to be a top-5 pick this year.

During his junior season at Colorado, Hunter had 1,258 yards receiving and caught 15 touchdown passes. He also had 4 interactions and 11 pass deflections on defense. He is an All-American and the winner of the 2024 Heisman Trophy, which is awarded to the best player in all of college football.

Will Johnson is a Top-15 Prospect

Michigan's Will Johnson has seen his stock slide a little bit as he dealt with a toe injury during the season and now finds himself with a hamstring injury. Regardless, Johnson is a great press corner who breaks off receivers to make plays on the ball. He returned 3 interceptions for touchdowns in his career and was an integral part of Michigan winning the National Title in 2023. Johnson is also fantastic at reading quarterbacks when he is in zone coverage.

Barron, Hairston are First Round Talents

Jahdae Barron has been flying up draft boards, and the cornerback is a first-round talent. He's great a getting a feel for route combinations along with having blazing speed (sub 4.4 40-yard dash). Receivers struggle to separate from him thanks to his balance and strength. Barron is versatile and lined as a press corner as well as at safety for Texas in 2024.

Maxwell Hairston is another player who has seen his stock rise over the last couple of months. He was the fastest player at the combine as he clocked in a 4.28 seconds in the 40. Hairston looks great on tape as he uses his speed to close quickly and break up passes while jumping routes. He can change directions with ease and is also dangerous after picking off passes. He returned 3 interceptions for touchdowns at Kentucky.
