Texans receiver expected to miss game

Houston Chronicle: Texans receiver Jacoby Jones was late to a team meeting on Saturday and will not play in today’s game against the Jaguars.

Jones, who has four touchdown catches and a kickoff return for a touchdown, was told to stay in Houston rather than fly to Jacksonville, Fla., on his own. Glenn Martinez will replace him at receiver and as a punt returner.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
