Dolphins WR DeVante Parker still dealing with hamstring injury

Dolphins coach Adam Gase said last week that he hopes wide receiver DeVante Parker will eventually “know how to push through certain kinds of pain” so that he can make good on the potential that made him a first-round pick in 2015.

It doesn’t look like this will be the week that Parker makes that breakthrough. Parker hurt his hamstring last Monday, an injury that Gase said is different than the hamstring injury that cost him time in August, and remains out of practice on Tuesday with the start of the regular season fast approaching.

Fantasy Impact:

Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills will be the top two Dolphins receivers this weekend whether Parker plays or not. The third wideout will likely be rookie Leonte Carroo as offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said, via Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, that newly acquired Justin Hunter doesn’t know enough about the offense yet to fill Parker’s role.
