Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham played 17 snaps in Week 1, but the team is ready to ramp up his workload, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
"He’s ready to go," Carroll said ahead of the Seahawks' road meeting with the Los Angeles Rams. "He had his best week, and he’s ready to play in all situations."
Graham (ruptured patellar tendon) ran nine routes in Week 1 and was used as a blocker on the other eight snaps. He caught just one pass for 11 yards, but it came on the Seahawks' final, game-winning drive. Against the Miami Dolphins, the Seahawks played with two tight ends on 11 of 78 snaps. Luke Willson played 78 percent of the snaps. Graham is way down our list at 25 so it's probably better to take a wait-and-see approach this week, especially if you have a better option to fall back on.
