Austin Seferian-Jenkins is headed to New York.
The tight end was claimed by the Jets after being waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
ESPN first reported the claim.
Fantasy Impact:
The Bucs released Seferian-Jenkins following an arrest Friday morning on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and a driver's license violation. The Jets have't have a reception from a TE this year, the story said, with the position featuring Kellen Davis and Brandon Bostick as of now. ASJ will need some time to learn the offense but obviously has a chance to have an impact with the Jets at some point.
