Giants WR Odell Beckham has hip pointer

Odell Beckham Jr. had the best statistical game of his career on Sunday, and he did so while in pain. Beckham suffered a hip pointer in the first half of the Giants' 27-23 win over the Ravens, exiting the game for a period before returning and gutting through it.

But what is his status going forward as the Giants begin preparation for Sunday's game against the Rams in London?

"He's down there getting some treatment," head coach Ben McAdoo said Monday on a conference call with local reporters. "We'll know more when we go to hit the field with him."

Fantasy Impact:

McAdoo added he's sure Beckham is going to be sore. A hip pointer is basically a deep bruising of the point of one's hip bone, according to the story. The story talked about how Beckham could still play even if he misses practice all week, but that's simply speculation at this point and we'll know more Tuesday. The team plays in London against the Rams in Week 7.
