Stacking the Deck: FanDuel & DraftKings Stacks for Week 11
Welcome back to Stacking the Deck.
This season at 4for4 we will be providing subscribers with Value Reports and Stack Value Reports that value every stack in terms of projected points/$. We also use our Adjusted Fantasy Points Against (aFPA) metric, which has been adjusted to reflect offseason transactions, heavily in the column.
What’s new this year is we know have the have the advantage of putting into practice two great offseason studies from my colleague, Senior DFS Editor, Chris Raybon: The Definitive Guide to Stacking on FanDuel and The Definitive Guide to Stacking on DraftKings.
Lately, a lot of people have been asking me where to start when looking for what players they should stack in tournaments? There's no simple formula by any means, but each week I look for players that satisfy our GPP Guidelines for both FanDuel and DraftKings. There are plenty of ways to be contrarian and get off the chalk, but finding lower-owned options that satisfy those guidelines is a great place to start.
We will continue to focus on positive correlations in this column, but also put a higher emphasis on leverage plays in GPPs. Hopefully you have been following along. The Pittsburgh stacks were lighting all kinds of fire emojis last week, let's keep it going.
FanDuel Stacks
Kirk Cousins ($7,600) & Jordan Reed ($6,900) vs. GB
Quarterbacks and TE1 have a .33 correlation on FanDuel. Cousins and Reed are both great options this week against a Packers defense that ranks 24th in TE aFPA and have struggled mightily against stronger tight end options. Case in point: Delanie Walker's 9-124-1 line last last week. Cousins has struggled to find real-football consistency this season but he is playing as a home favorite with the sixth-highest Team Total of the week (26.5), three positive indicators for success. The Cousins-Reed stack is our number-five QB-REC1 stack on FanDuel for Week 11.
