Jets to stick with Ryan Fitzpatrick at QB

Eight is not enough for Todd Bowles to pull the plug on Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The Jets lost their eighth game of the season Sunday, a 22-17 loss to the Patriots, but Bowles said Monday Fitzpatrick will remain the starting quarterback next Monday, when the Jets play the Colts.

Fantasy Impact:

Those who cheer for the team, and perhaps even the NY media, seem to want the Jets to play Bryce Petty, the 2015 fourth-round pick, with an eye toward the future. But Bowles said that was not even a consideration after the Patriots loss. Fitz didn't play poorly most of the game but had a fumbled that pretty much sealed the fate of the Jets late in the game.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
