Bucs RB Doug Martin 'bent back' but says he's fine

The Buccaneers closed out Sunday’s 28-21 win over the Chargers with running back Doug Martin on the bench, but it doesn’t look like the veteran is going to be out for another extended period.

He said after the game, via Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times, that he was “bent back” before heading for the sideline and that he expects to be fine.

Fantasy Impact:

The Bucs got Jacquizz Rodgers back this week. Martin missed six games with a hamstring injury this year which allowed Rodgers to make a fantasy impact. In Week 13, Rodgers made a big catch on the game-winning touchdown drive and then ran the clock out on the next Tampa possession. Rodgers may be worth owning for Martin owners.

Kittle returns to a great matchup against a Packers defense that ranks 26th in TE aFPA. He should be fired up as a high-end TE1 once again.

Bears RB D'Andre Swift misses Wednesday practice

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
