Jets waive RB C.J. Spiller

The New York Jets have waived running back/kick returner C.J. Spiller and wide receiver/kick returner Jeremy Ross.

Coach Todd Bowles says Tuesday, a day after a 41-10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, he has not yet decided how he will fill the two vacant spots on the active roster.

The Jets have also announced they signed wide receiver Darius Jennings to the practice squad.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
