FanDuel Week 14 Cash Game Breakdown
This week, there are three games with weather concerns:
- 19 mph winds and 90% chance of snow for Bengals-Browns
- 17 mph winds and 80% chance of snow for Steelers-Bills
- 60% chance of snow for Seahawks-Packers
Kicking and passing game options should be avoided from these games unless the forecast changes, as it's not worth the risk in cash games. Building around two of David Johnson, LeVeon Bell, and Ezekiel Elliott seems like the way to go with no must-play QBs and the somewhat boom-or-bust Mike Evans only $100 cheaper than Bell and $400 more than Elliott.

QB Jameis Winston $8,200 vs. NO
Winston's Bucs are a home favorite and have the week's highest implied total (27). Winston's floor has been 16.3 over his last seven games, and despite Andrew Luck being projected for more points, I believe there's less of a chance the Bucs will have to take the air out of the ball in the only game this week with an over/under above 50. The Saints are ranked 27th in QB aFPA.
RB David Johnson $9,700 @ MIA
Johnson continues to be the cash game building block. He's scored 24+ FanDuel points in each of his last four games, and 20+ in seven of his last eight. Over the last three weeks, he's second in the league in targets per game with 11.3.
RB LeVeon Bell $9,000 @ BUF
Bell leads all RBs in touches per game (27.0) and targets per game (8.6). In Buffalo with snow and wind in the forecast, Bell is a good bet to see over 30 touches for the third time in four weeks. The Bills have allowed 1.2 TDs per game to RBs over their last six games.
WR Tyrell Williams $6,800 @ CAR
Over the last four weeks, only four WRs average more FanDuel points per game than Williams. He's scored a TD in five of his last six games not against Denver's shutdown cornerbacks, and in the one game he didn't, he gained 140 yards. The Panthers rank dead last in WR aFPA.
WR Golden Tate $6,300 vs. CHI
Since Week 6, Tate is averaging 6.9 receptions for 89.7 and 0.43 TDs on 9.1 targets. Only five WRs have averaged more FanDuel points per game than Tate (14.7) over that span. The Bears are ranked 19th in WR aFPA.
WR Emmanuel Sanders $5,900 @ TEN
Sanders' QB situation is not ideal, but he has drawn eight or more targets in 11-of-12 games this season and his salary has not been lower since the 2013 season. Combine the volume and salary drop with the fact that the Titans are ranked 29th in WR aFPA, and Sanders is our top projected value at WR this week.
TE Vernon Davis $4,800 @ PHI
Even in a tough matchup with the Eagles, Davis is our top projected value at TE. He has 5+ catches and/or 50+ yards in six of his last seven games and should remain involved with Jordan Reed likely to be used as a decoy or miss this week's game entirely. Davis was able to overcome the tough matchup with the Eagles earlier this season with a 2-50-1 line.
Sunday Update: With Jordan Reed expeted to play his normal role, the safer is move in cash would be to pivot to C.J. Fiedorowicz or Cameron Brate at TE while bumping down at QB to Kirk Cousins.
K Dan Bailey $4,700 @ NYG
Despite not being at home, Bailey is our top projected value at kicker this week. The Cowboys have the slate's fourth-highest implied total (25.25) and will face a Giants defense ranked 30th in kicker aFPA.
D Detroit Lions $4,600 vs. CHI
Since Week 4, only three teams have allowed fewer points per game than the Lions (18.44), who are slowing games down and playing keep-away. The Lions are the week's largest favorites (-8) against a Bears team that is ranked 23rd in DEF aFPA.
