Seahawks sign RB Kevin Taylor

The Seahawks are signing running back Kelvin Taylor to add depth to an injury-depleted tailback situation, according to a report from NFL.com.

Seattle was down to two healthy tailbacks at the end of the Green Bay game — Thomas Rawls and Alex Collins — after Troymaine Pope suffered what coach Pete Carroll on Monday said was “a severe” ankle sprain. It was a re-injury of an injury Pope had suffered against the Eagles on Nov. 20. Taylor is the son of former NFL back Fred Taylor.
