Pats like 'attitude and approach' of WR Michael Floyd

Since claiming wide receiver Michael Floyd on waivers last Thursday, the New England Patriots have spent considerable time getting him up to speed. That included having him practice last Friday and then taking the weekend trip with the team to Denver.

Floyd, it seems, has made a positive first impression.

"He’s done a nice job, he has a great attitude, so we look forward to getting out there in practice and really being able to get acclimated to one another," offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said Monday. "I like his attitude and his approach. He was into it and excited to be here, and we’re excited to have him."

Fantasy Impact:

As we said in our fantasy spin when the team signed Floyd: From a 2016 fantasy standpoint, owners shouldn't expect much from Floyd in the regular season. It's going to take some time to learn the offense and gain Tom Brady's trust, and it's not like the Patriots are desperate for receiver talent with both Chris Hogan and Malcolm Mitchell playing well.
