Kyle Orton will likely be a restricted free agent at season's end, depending on how the league's labor negotiations go. It means he can solicit offers from other teams, and the Broncos will have the right to match any offer he gets. The Broncos could also tender him a one-year deal. Or they could commit to him for the long-term, if they are convinced he's a player who can lead them forward.

"No question about it, I want to be here," Orton said. "The community's been great to us — we love Colorado, we love living here and the organization has been great to me, so I really don't see why I wouldn't be back.

"I'll just let the business take care of itself, but you have to worry about it. My wife wants to move into a house; we haven't lived in a house for a long time. Whatever's going to happen, we want it to happen so we can kind of settle down and really take root here."
