Pats TE Rob Gronkowski suspension upheld

The NFL has upheld the one-game suspension of Rob Gronkowski after hearing his appeal on Tuesday. Gronkowski will miss the Patriots game against the Dolphins on Monday night.

Fantasy Impact:

As we said yesterday, the suspension is well deserved but comes at a terrible time for fantasy owners who have a playoff game in Week 14. Streaming options include Cameron Brate (vs. DET), Austin Seferian-Jenkins (@ DAL), Ricky Seals-Jones (vs. TEN), Julius Thomas (vs. NE), David Njoku (vs. GB), Dwayne Allen (@ MIA) and Stephen Anderson (vs. SF, C.J. Fiedorowicz likely out). Another very good option would be Trey Burton (@ LAR) if Zach Ertz is out with a concussion. Delanie Walker may have re-injured his ankle, so Jonnu Smith (@ARI) is on the streaming radar as well.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
