Bucs RB Doug Martin clears concussion protocol

Martin has been cleared to return to the field but it's uncertain what his role will be with Peyton Barber playing so well in his absence.

Fantasy Impact:

While it's great to see a healthy Martin back, his return muddles the Bucs RB situation. Barber was named the surprise starter last week and he rewarded the Bucs with the team's first 100-yard rushing performance of the season, carrying the ball 23 times for 102 yards. He also added 4 catches (on 4 targets) for 41 yards. Martin's season high is 74 yards. We have Barber ranked as our No. 21 RB this week and he's the Bucs back you want to start.

Bears RB D'Andre Swift misses Wednesday practice

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
