Streaming Defenses: Week 15 Fantasy Football Targets
Generally, defenses have to be available on the waiver wire in at least 40% of Yahoo fantasy leagues to be eligible as a streaming option. This ensures we are talking about defenses that are readily available.
Last week, the Arizona Cardinals were our top scoring defense, scoring 11 fantasy points against the Titans. They finished as the DST6 in most formats. In Week 14, our targets averaged 5.3 points and, overall, our streaming picks are averaging nearly 10 FP/game.
Continue to target a defense facing a below average or rookie QB or making a long road trip. Week 15 is here, and for most of you, hopefully, a trip to your semi-finals. Here are the defenses we're targeting for the upcoming week.
Carolina Panthers vs. GB
The Panthers welcome the Packers into Bank of America Stadium and with the way Carolina’s defense has played, it looks to be a favorable matchup this week.
Mario Addison and Julius Peppers lead the team in sacks, with Addison compiling sacks in four of his last five games.
Luke Kuechly is the quarterback and heart and soul of this defense. He leads the team in tackles and is capable of making plays all over the field. He also leads the team in INTs.
Mike Adams is second on the team in picks and Daryl Worley leads the team in defended passes.
It was announced that Aaron Rodgers was medically cleared, and while it's not official, could make the start. Rodgers is coming back pretty quick from a broken collarbone. Not saying there's going to be rust, but the Panthers have been aggressive in the pass rush, so I don't think they're going to take it easy on him. The Panthers are available in 46% of leagues this week.
