OT Nate Solder to sign with the New York Giants

The Giants are getting something they desperately need—offensive line help—in the form of former Patriots LT Nate Solder. Solder will be an immediate upgrade at the tackle position and should help keep Eli Manning upright.

Adam Schefter later reported it's a four-year deal worth $60 million.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
