Browns quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese made it clear Sunday that nothing's changed in the aftermath of Baker Mayfield's sensational rookie debut agains the Giants and that Tyrod Taylor is still the man.
"We're sticking with our plan,'' said Zampese. "Let's get on with Tyrod as our starter. He's our guy.''
As for Mayfield's debut, he said, "He's had 22 preseason NFL snaps. He has a long way to go and we're encouraged with where he's at right now.''
The Browns think Taylor can be very successful with the Browns this year ... which is the only year they are concerned with right now, according to QB coach Ken Zampese. Taylor is our No. 28 ranked QB, so he should be around later in drafts.
