Seahawks TE Nick Vannett had an obvious highlight with the third-down catch and then the touchdown on the first drive.
But HC Pete Carroll also raved about the play of Will Dissly, the fourth-round pick from Washington, who had two catches for 19 yards but more importantly has shown the team what it hoped he would in the blocking department.
Tyrone Swoopes has also had some nice moments in camp and the combination of those three playing well may mean the Seahawks won’t look to rush back Ed Dickson.
Dickson is our highest-rated Seattle TE (No. 27 TE), but as the story said, there is no planned return at this point for him. Vannett is next up and is our No. 49 ranked TE, but the TE position for the Seahawks isn't expected to be anything more than a TE2 value when Dickson takes over.
