Four days after releasing him to clear a roster spot for Julian Edelman, the Patriots re-signed running back Kenjon Barner.
Barner has now signed with New England three times in the last four weeks. He's rushed three times for 11 yards, having only seen the field in mop-up duty. Barner was originally signed before the Patriots' Week 2 trip to Jacksonville, then received his release less than two weeks later and brought back before being let go again last week.

Fantasy Impact:
He is the third running back on the roster after Michel and White. Barner, a sixth-year back out of Oregon, also provides depth on punt return.
