IDP Waiver Wire: Week 11 Pickups and Matchup Plays
We are headed toward the stretch run of the fantasy season. We have another huge bye week, with six teams sitting at home. We'll be without the services of Joe Schobert, Tremaine Edmunds, Avery Williamson, Myles Garrett, Fred Warner, and Kiko Alonso just to name a few. From the injury front, it seems like Lavonte David is dealing with a sprained MCL which could keep him out of action. This is another tough week to navigate and the playoffs are around the corner.
Between injuries and bye weeks, here are your targets in your IDP league's waiver wire.
Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire
Defensive Back
Eric Reid, SS, Carolina Panthers (46 snaps/79 percent)
Reid is playing all over the field for Carolina and had 19 snaps near the line of scrimmage against Pittsburgh. He's acclimated to the defense, as he's recorded 27 tackles a sack with an INT over the last four games. Had he not been ejected in Week 10, he was on his way to a huge game as he notched nine tackles - resulting in a 19.6 percent tackle rate.
Justin Evans, SS, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (49 snaps/84 percent)
Evans has quietly had a solid-IDP season for the Bucs. He's producing a 9.8 percent tackle rate - resulting in 57 tackles and puts him at a pace to finish with nearly 100 this season. He's recorded double-digit fantasy points in four straight games and is generating .20 points per snap.
Eddie Jackson, FS, Chicago Bears (78 snaps/100 percent)
Since a stinker against the Jets, he's produced 13 or more fantasy points in consecutive games, including a defensive score in Week 9. He's worth looking at in big play leagues. He's recorded a big play in four of nine games - resulting in two INTs and two forced fumbles.
