Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown is still recovering from lisfranc surgery on his right foot, and isn't 100 percent. He still experiences soreness in the foot. But he did participate some in Miami's recent OTAs, and says the healing process is going well.
"It's good,'' Brown said. "I've been out there, and I've been in the offseason program, so I'm steadily making progress. If I continue to make this kind of progress, it will be pretty good for the season.''
The veteran runner doesn't rule out being completely ready for Miami's training camp in July.
Brown is a solid fantasy back when healthy, and is capable of monster games. The game he had against New England in 2008 when he ran for four touchdowns and threw for a score is legendary in fantasy circles. But he has a history of injury trouble and the Dolphins have Ricky Williams slated for a fairly sizeable workload. If you take Brown, make sure you have plenty of other options.
